"I was recommended Bryony through a friend when enquiring about a musician to play at our wedding ceremony, and from my first communication she was a pleasure to work with. She talked me through the process, and was open to arranging all of the songs we wanted without any issue. She was also able to source a guitarist which was a big help to when we had lots of organising to do with other aspects of the wedding. We had loads of compliments from our guests about how beautifully the music was performed on the day. She was so professional from start to finish, would recommend her wholeheartedly for any type of event."

"Bryony's cello playing at our wedding was absolutely beautiful. She is a truly talented musician who completely understood the need to make our wedding ceremony special. She played as I walked down the aisle and when we signed the register, and many people said to me afterwards that the atmosphere due to the music had been really special. She was really flexible and easy to work with beforehand, helping us to choose the right piece of music and giving us suggestions. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!'

"Bryony played the cello for us during the ceremony of our winter wedding last November. She was fantastic at helping us choose the most beautiful pieces of music to suit the feel and setting of our wedding. It really gave the wedding day a special personal touch. Bryony was extremely professional on the day and fitted in seamlessly with our schedule. Thank you Bryony for adding that something extra special and unique to our day."

"My father, a pianist himself found Bryony to play at our wedding and as a perfectionist would only ever choose the best! Bryony played two cello pieces beautifully while we signed the register creating the most wonderful atmosphere in the little country church. Many guests commented on her playing and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a very talented musician and lovely person!"

"Bryony played cello for our church wedding ceremony in July. She performed a range of pieces from Bach to Beyoncé, which were all amazing. She helped so much with choosing our music and even arranged particular songs we wanted, which were so fun and sounded beautiful. It all created a really special atmosphere and suited the whole feel of the wedding perfectly. It was exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much Bryony!"

"We found the Fendt Ensemble through my dad who knows a few musicians in the Salisbury area and provided us with Bryony’s contact details. From the outset, Bryony was so friendly and professional and she was open to having a few discussions about how the day was going to go,  and our ideas for pieces for the string quartet to play. She was also able to suggest some pieces to us for various parts of the ceremony to make sure we conveyed the right tone and it was great to have her professional input as we don’t have a very good knowledge of classical music ourselves.

We chose to have a string quartet play during our wedding because we weren’t getting married in a church, but did want to create a refined and formal atmosphere for the service, which also reflected the fact it was a joyful occasion at the appropriate moments, as well as having some musical accompaniment to the hymns. We asked the Fendt Ensemble to play some lovely classical pieces for 15 minutes or so before the ceremony started as guests took their seats so they could enjoy the music, and then play the processional and recessional music as well as a couple of pieces during the signing of the register, so they were a really integral part of our ceremony. They did all of this absolutely beautifully, creating a really rich sound and timing everything just right, so that they were perfectly in pace with the guests as they sang the hymns and wrapped up the pieces they were playing for the other parts of the ceremony at the right moment. It was an absolute pleasure to listen to them playing and it really added a weight and ambience to the ceremony that you just can’t get from switching a recording on and off - nowhere close! It made it feel all the more special.

Once the ceremony was over we all had some canapés out on the patio and the Fendt Ensemble set up there to play a few more beautiful pieces of classical music and some fun versions of more modern themes - my brother in law is a big Zelda fan so we asked for the Zelda theme to be played as well as the Game of Thrones one. This again created a lovely atmosphere and I’m so glad we asked them to stay on for this part. We enjoyed hearing all the interpretations of well known tunes played by the quartet - everything they play sounds so beautiful.

In summary, I was impressed by the Fendt Ensemble’s professionalism and technical execution of the pieces played - many of which required real expertise to play so beautifully - as well as the experience and understanding they brought to all of this. They knew exactly what we wanted and it was so easy to work with Bryony leading up to the day. When you are busy arranging so many things for a wedding this is very much appreciated! Their contribution formed an important part of the ceremony and helped to make the day special, so I’m really grateful to them for that. It was an absolute pleasure to hear them playing and if you get the chance to do so, at a wedding or otherwise, I would highly recommend this"

"We tied the knot on the 5th October 2021 at The Stratford Park Barn. We asked Bryony yo play 'At Last' by Etta James for during the ceremony and it was perfect. The guests complimented us on how beautiful and romantic it was, and how it added so much to the reception drinks afterwards too. A large variety of song choices were made available for us to choose from, plus personal requests that Bryony offered to learn for us too. We highly recommend! Thank you xx"
